La Dolce Vita Boudoir Workshop Announced!!

Over the last few months I have been overwhelmed with requests to teach a boudoir workshop :) So, I have decided to offer a one time only LDV full day workshop!

Here are all the lovely details :

What: A full day (7 hours including lunch) workshop to learn and shoot boudoir. I will show you different posing techniques, ways to make your clients feel comfortable and sexy, shooting techniques as well as image processing. We will also be covering different boudoir styles such as “romantic” “traditional” and “pin-up”.

Where: Grand Rapids, MI

When: March 16th, 2010 (times will be announced to the attendees)

Who: I will have former LDV clients come in and model for us. We will also have a fabulous hair and make up stylist to provide us with some different looks through out the day.

Due to the nature of this course I will be limiting this class to only 5 attendees. The cost is $600 and a $200 deposit is needed to hold your spot. Credit cards are accepted.

This is your chance to learn how to better your boudoir photography techniques and build a fabulous portfolio!

Live it, Love it, Learn it: Photography Workshop!!

Ciao from Italy!!

As most of you know I have been in Italy for the past few days attending a workshop! I cannot wait to get home and blog these images (and some of the weddings I should have blogged a few weeks ago!)!!

Here is a sneak peek from the engagement shoot from yesterday :)

I will write more later!

Eventology 2009

WOW! I am really not even sure where to start with tell you all about this event!!

Eventology is the brainchild created by Katasha of K Sherrie + Company! You can read more about Eventology and all its fabulousness here on the blog: Eventology2009. I was just in awe being a room filled with the most fabulous event planners in the country!
The speakers: Terrica Skaggs of Fabuluxe Inc, Liene Stevens of Blue Orchid Weddings and Saundra Hadley of Planning Forever were absolutely amazing to listen to and I learned sooooo much from them! I hope to one day be able to work with them at one of their amazing events!!
I am so honored to have been the official photographer for this event and I look forward to next years event and seeing everyone again.

As soon as I arrived I picked up my swag bag and as I opened it I found it to be FILLED with goodness! Katasha and her team did an amazing job putting all of this together, my hat goes off to all of them and their planning brilliance!

The other 2 vendors that I need to rave about before getting to the pictures are the linen and flowers..OMG were they fabulous!! Sometimes you don’t realize how much having good linens and flowers really pulls a room together and Bill from Fabulous Events and Deborah from A Brides Florist certainly knows how to make that happen!! I got a SUPER sweet email from Bill when I returned and let me tell you, this guy knows how decorate a room! If you need linens you MUST call him!

I would also like to say a special thanks to the Omni Hotel in Indianapolis for setting everything up for us, you guys are amazing!!
Ok, enough mushiness, on to the pictures :)
Sorry if I have left anyone out, please be sure to comment and let me know :)
