This has got to be one of my favorite engagement sessions I have shot in a while! I am usually not a fan of snow or really anything cold but after editing this session I think I will start shooting in the winter more often! Whats better is that Susan and Kevin are such an awesome couple…they totally made this session one for the books!

Special thanks to Julie Strating for coming out to do Susan’s make up..I wish we could take you with us to Georgia for the wedding, you really created such a fabulous look for Susan!

Renne Austin: A Bridal Boutique

Renne Austin Bridal Boutique is the dream child of my client Angie Austin! They had spent months decorating and planning and it all paid off when they finally opened the doors for the big grand opening! I was honored to be not only the official photographer for the grand opening, but the official photographer for the store! If you are looking for a unique wedding dress and fabulous customer service, stop in and see the girls. You can also see some of my work hanging on the walls! They are located downtown Grand Rapids just next to Monte’s and O’Tooles.

Meet Christine: South Africa Wedding Photography

While Christine and I have never actually met in person, the social networking website,Twitter, has created the bridge between our two very different worlds and allowed us to build this new fabulous friendship! A while back Christine and I were chatting about how she really wants to come to America to shoot a wedding and I told her how I would love to go to South Africa to shoot a wedding there. We decided it would be fun to write about each other and let the world know that we would love to travel to you :)

Here is a bit about Christine :

“I’m a wedding and portrait photographer from South Africa. I started
my business 3 years ago, when I realized that I want do something I
love for the rest of my life! Photography and pretty things are my
passions! One of the greatest things about my job is that I get to
work with ordinary people and make them feel beautiful and super
special! One of my dreams would be to do international weddings. So
I’m willing to come over and shoot…just let me know when and

Lisa + Bryce: Mount Pleasant Wedding Photography

Despite the rain, sun, sleet and snow that occurred on Bryce and Lisa’s wedding day, they were smiling the entire time! No bad weather was going to get them down :) I love that about this them, they are so in love with each other, it was written all over their faces!

The location they chose, St. Ives, was a spectacular and elegant venue and as always we truly enjoyed working with Brian from The Photo Booth Company!

Lisa and Bryce, you guys are fabulous and we enjoyed every minute of our time with you guys! I hope you enjoy your preview!
