Megan + Patrick: Chicago Wedding Photography

Megan and Patricks wedding was one of the most memorable events this year for me! When Megan first contacted me and told me that she was looking to get married in a location that was very unique and wanted their wedding to be something different and original I knew this was going to be a very amazing wedding to photograph!

We started our day with the girls getting ready at the fabulous Allerton Hotel. Megan and her sister made all the feather boutineers and hair pieces, which were truly out of this world cute! Megan made her bouquet and was the only one in the wedding party that carried flowers, all the girls carried cutie pie purses from from Etsy

To guide us around the busy streets of Chicago, Megan and Brent hired a school bus to take us around for the day Our final destination: Salvage One in downtown Chicago! If you have never been to Salvage One, it has to be one of the most unique locations I have ever photographed! The store, yes it is a store (5 floors filled with salvaged material that has been turned into ART!), served as not only their ceremony location but as their reception location and wedding decor! Not much decoration was needed for this space since everything in the store was used for the wedding! Including the tables, chairs, and candle holders!

Please understand this spot was a photographers DREAM to shoot in and that is why there are soooooooo many pictures in this post!!
